How to Look Sexy – without the other moms hating you
Do you want to look and feel sexier, but are afraid of what other women will say about you? Or worse, are you afraid of how they will treat you?
Women are fabulous. Women are wonderful. And some women can be bitchy, mean and downright ugly (talking about ugly from the INSIDE here). So first of all, don’t give a hoot what the “ugly girls” say. It’s funny how many friends you get when you just do what YOU want to do. ……BUT (yes, there’s always a but) there are times when you want to be you, and you don’t feel like rocking the boat. You want to show the low-key, easy to get along with, “everybody likes me” side of you. After all, you are a multi-dimensional woman who has many, many sides. You’re beautifully complex and fabulous because of it! So let’s say you want to feel sexy…and friendly. What do you do?
Here are 3 sure -fire ways to look sexier, feel sexier, and still have the other mamas like you! (If you care. If you don’t care, then go all out Red Haute Mama and SCREW what others think). However, since you want your children to have playdates with their classmates (and some women can just be flat out nasty) – or if you just moved to an uber conservative neighborhood – you might feel you have to tone down your hautness around the other moms….just for awhile. Then when you find “your girls” you can ALL let your hair down a little more!
1. When you are wearing shorts, or a skirt or dress (or ANYTHING that shows your legs), wear cute little sandals that are mostly flat – no higher than 1″. Your legs will still look fabulous without you being perceived as heading into “slutty” territory. Moms are really intimidated by other moms wearing heels….unless you’ve obviously been working and are wearing a business suit. And for goodness sake, stay away from platform heels. I know they are in style, but they are sexier than non-platform heels. I still can’t look at (or wear) platform heels without thinking “Hi Stripper!” every time. Keep your heels simple, low, and that’s that.
2. If you have fabulous ta-tas, wear a snug shirt vs. a low cut shirt. This will be sure to still define your girls, without the moms feeling as bad about themselves when you show cleavage. Not everyone can afford a boob-job, wants a boob-job, or has naturally endowed breasts like you do. For whatever reason, your “girls” can intimidate the heck out of other women who don’t have “girls” of their own. **totally random side note – And if you are looking for girls, padded bras are awesome!
3. If anyone says how fabulous you look, say, “Thank you. (ALWAYS start off with a thank you – you probably don’t say it enough after you get a nice compliment from someone!) I got this at the discount store for only $5!” You will endeavor yourself to her heart, and you just might find a new bargain shopping friend. I’ve started many friendships this way. Yes, saving money can lead to big time girl-bonding.
