January is one of the best times of year to refresh your bedroom and bathroom because bedding and towels are always on sale this time of year. “White Sales” are everywhere.
Luckily hubby said it was time to brighten our bedroom so it looks more like the rest of the house now that we’ve remodeled the kitchen. (You can see the completed kitchen HERE).
I went to HomeGoods and purchased a gorgeous, white Hotel Collection comforter, pillows, and a fuzzy throw blanket by Cynthia Rowley. High thread count sheets are from Overstock (my personal favorite for the best prices on high thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets). And I used a rug from a different part of the house. Kept the mirror from Z Gallerie, and eventually I’ll switch out the lights with something bigger and brass or a gold finish. For now, this works just fine and was relatively inexpensive for such a dramatic makeover. Lighter. Brighter. And not need to paint or buy new furniture.
Proof you can use what you have and spend very little money to completely update and renovate your space!
What do you think? Are you motivated to do a quick refresh on your bedroom? Hopefully you found this helpful because these are some of my favorite resources. I hope you find things you enjoy for your home as well.
