So I’ve done it. And I’m scared, but you’ve inspired me to stop thinking about it, and just take action! So even though I’ve never done this Bombshell Bootcamp before (teaching 5000+ students around Arizona doesn’t count since I was always working for one of the National modeling schools). This is kinda like my baby. Except my oldest baby is now officially a teen and talks back, so this Bootcamp is BETTER than a baby! I’m having a Bombshell!
Here’s 3 tips you can put to use right away! **Can be used by ALL women; moms and non-moms**
Isn’t it funny how your experiences teach you valuable life lessons? One of the best life lessons I learned from speaking to Girl Scout troops was that if you want your audience to stand up and listen to you, you’ve GOT to look polished and together! When I wore pants (even with a cute top, and sparkly high heels, they could care less what I had to say. But when I put on my most fab dress (that’s just 1 of my top 13 Bombshell tips for you), suddenly they were at attention and hung onto every word. (If you think for one moment it’s easy to keep the attention of 20 nine year old girls….HA!)
It’s the same for you. Like it or not, people will treat you differently based on the image you present. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but when people respond to you, it’s NOT because of who you are “on the inside.” It’s ALL ABOUT how you look (and most importantly how you FEEL you look) on the OUTSIDE!
30% of the proceeds will go to Dress for Success – helping disadvantaged women get the tools needed to gain employment.

To tattoo or not to tattoo, that is the question!
Okay, so Shakespeare probably wouldn’t write serious questions about tattoos, but lately I’ve seen more and more women sporting tattoos (more women now than in Shakespeare’s era, for sure!). And to be honest I’m a little confused about it. (I love this Saturday Night Live video spoof about moms getting tattoos).
This is simply curiosity for anyone who has (or who has ever thought of) getting a tattoo. Hey, I even tried the “permanent makeup” to darken my naturally white blonde brows (yes God has a sense of humor to give a girl BRIGHT red hair and white blonde brows…haa – haa, it’s NOT funny!). In case you don’t know, “permanent makeup” is a fancy way of saying “tattoo” for your face. Because if you tried to sell women on the idea of tattooing our faces, we’d come up with all kinds of reasons as to why that is just plain stupid.
So why are so many more women likely to get a non-face tattoo? Especially when it doesn’t even have a cool name like “permanent body makeup.” Why the increase in tattoos? It’s especially interesting to me that lawyers, doctors, and other articulate, beautiful and accomplished women are walking around with tramp stamps (a tattoo on your lower back just above your tush). **I heard the term “tramp stamp” from the movie “Wedding Crashers.” If it has another name feel free to share below. Otherwise, remember I didn’t come up with the name….just calling it the most widely used one! **
Would love to hear your thoughts on this. To tattoo or not to tattoo….would you or wouldn’t you? Please leave your comments below. Until next time, wishing you a fabulous day!
