I have been a hair designer and product development consultant for 35 years.

I wouldn’t use Moroccan Oil. The first three ingredients are silicones, which is fine. The 4th is an ingredient Butylphenyl Methyl Propional – lt’s a skin irritant and there have been tests that found that skin applications of BM at high concentrations in animals caused sperm damage.

    the 5th is the oil
8th- D & C Red 17 – was originally manufactured from coal tar, but is now mostly made from petroleum It is banned in Denmark, Belgium, France and Switzerland,
9th – Coumarin – For the anticoagulant rodenticide poisons often called “coumarins” or “coumadins”, ,
and 10th – Benzyl Benzoate – may be used as an antiparasitic insecticide to kill the mites responsible for the skin conditionscabies Symptoms of overdose Blister formation, crusting, itching, oozing, reddening, or scaling of skin difficulty in urinating (dribbling) jerking movements sudden loss of consciousness.

Your best going with a basic silicone formula with no additives that can contaminate.

Moisture Block is the only non-water soluble (shampoo soluble) product for hair. Go to http://www.sabinohair.com

Victor, please feel free to send me some. If I like it, I’ll share it. Until then, I still like Moroccan Oil. Thanks! Kirin

thank you so much for the tips, I will try that, I am using a good product that is helping me with the frizz, it’s Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil which is pretty amazing, keeps my hair frizz less, shiny, soft and healthy. 😀

For 21 years I’ve struggled to keep my unruly wavy and frizzy hair under control. I can think of two times now I’ve been happy with it and one of those times was when I got my hair done with using Shielo’s Leave in Protectant. I usually put my hair up to avoid dealing with it, but I look much better with it down.

The Shielo Protectant makes my waves and curls come out without the frizz/poof and smells great. My mom brought me to her stylist because she has similar hair (where I got the Shielo product from) and she did the same thing to me as she did to mom, only a little bit different of a style. Needless to say, we both swear by this product now.
